I need to see one for my lumbar pain… watching how he does it gives me relief already..

All chiropractors need to be presumed to be quacks. I’m shocked at how no one has taken these quacks own clips to show what a bunch a shit it all is.

Have anyone making Comments had Chiropractic Adjustment? it does not look like it…

I couldn’t say much about Australian chiros; in America they try to go way outside their scope of practice (LBP).

I’m pretty sure Chiropractors go through 6 six of tertiary education (at University) to be fully qualified.

They know what they’re doing (at least in Australia).

Because he doesn’t know what he is doing. For that matter, neither does this guy.

thats acalled a quack, this is delicate work

while his emthod might work its also dangeroud (he might be good im just judgeing from the way u put it)

if he indeed does what u just said hes the 1 giveing chiropractors a bad name

Would you 2 take your nonsense to a private chat?

No one cares to see you try to prove how smart you are. You are achieving the exact opposite.

Man, Dr. Echols is so much faster than this. He doesn’t even bother locating specific subluxations, he just crunches the spine wherever it feels tense.

You’re right about interexaminer reliability for detecting hypomobilities, thats why the newest research suggests PAIN on PA segmental overpressure is a better indicator of dysfunction vertebrae (i.e. subluxation).

In essence, medicare requires at least 2 of 4 for “medical necessity” to determine subluxation complex (i.e. segmental dysfunction) P (pain) A (asymmetry) R (range of motion) T (tenderness/tonicity of adjacent soft tissues). This assessment is just the chiro part.

That may be truere: knowledge, but u can’t tell if it’s misaligned so Ynot just say-want to make jts function;do what suppose to do.If they flexFW w/pain U see they R restricted;could be obstructed w/pain increase dur’g mvmnt;whatever;U apply mob to seg dur’g mvmnt;freed up mvmnt;decreased pain, unless theoretically disc bulge which may worsen w/this).In end, approve of anyth’g that takes pain away, however, if pt can do themselves or w/minimal manual overpressure;I’d rather do it that way. Thanks!

But that’s essentially what it is! A vertebral subluxation consists entirely on FUNCTIONAL integrity, in other words, restriction of normal movement. Often times you’ll hear chiropractors refer to it as “misalignments”, but the reason so is simply for the purpose of patient understanding knowing that the average patient doesn’t have any knowledge about biomechanics.

  13. ProPTRehab on December 25th, 2009 2:24 am

How are you distinguishing misalignments from naturally deviated spinous processes; normal asymmetries? All of the interexaminer studies show this is unreliable. I can see having a person move through a motion and observe restrictions and mobilization the segment above to free up the motion in a weight bearing functional position.
