Teknokrazed asked:

A friend of mine said a chiropractor helped him get over asthma. He said that chiropractors can do a lot for health problems. Can they help with digestive problems?

actually yes- you want to find a chiropractor that is understanding about whole body health and chiropractic for healing rather than just for temporary relief. Many people are under the misconception that chiropractic is useful for nothing more than relieving back and neck pain. They also see the spine as little more than what holds them upright. The spine is the protection for your nervouse ststem- every single function of your body is affected by your nervous system.
My daughter had many digestive troubles and food allergies, when taking xrays and scans of her spine, it was found that her biggest areas of concern in her spine were the areas of her digestive functions - she has seen some relief since going to the chiropractor and he has given us reason to believe that their will be further improvement.
I have seen little babies that have been cured from acid reflux using only chiropractic therapy. My husband was cured of many allergies and sinus troubles through chiropractic.
Whether or not chiropractic helps with this specific problem for you (which I would venture to say that it will at the very least give you some relief or get you on the right path to healing) it won’t hurt you and can only be beneficial for your health all around.
All chiropractors are not alike though, you want to make sure you find one who will make you as much a part of your progress towards health as he (or she ) is.

Make sure you find a Naturapathic doctor. To search for a doctor go to…..

They should be able to test your stomach acidity. Things that help digestion are chewing your food a lot. Not drinking a ton of water when eating. Taking digestive enzymes if its right for you. Having a strong stomach by doing sit ups. All vitamins play a vital role as well so the naturopathic doctor can help you with that as well.
